Before I remove the dealer installed body side molding that I really don't like, I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the Chrome door trim installed. Maybe that will improve the look of the body side molding? Thanks......

LED Fog Light Question
So as some of you may know I have a TLX V6 Tech, thats obviously without the fog lights. The LED headlights are truly amazing, but my question is to anyone with fog lights, during normal nighttime driving do they make much of a difference in total brightness? In my TSX turning the fog lights on, even when their wasn't any fog, made my headlights seam much brighter. I'm considering ordering the LED fog light package from my Acura dealership but if they don't make much difference i'm not sure if its worth it. Any thoughts?

I'm new to this site but I have been periodically checking back and forth for quite some time now because I've been a big fan of the Acura Legend, as well as the Acura RL. Now that I'm in the market for a new (to me) vehicle, I've had my eyes on a couple of used RLs. The first one is a white, one owner that had about 111,000 miles on it. It's white with black leather. It seems that there is some maintenance history with it as well. The asking price is 9,977. Do you think this is a good deal? What should I look for with an 06 model. I'm curious because I have to drive to Texas from North Carolina soon and want to make sure there are no issues to worry about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My car sounds like a Subie WRX?!? -- 2010 TL SHAWD
Wassup all! I don't I ever had to post here since owning my 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6 SPD Manual when I got her new on 09/30/09. I never really had any mechanical issues with her or anything like that. Had to replace the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate at 87k, not gonna blame my fiancee on that, but she got used to driving the car Lolz.
Anyways, I currently have roughly 933XX miles on the car. Mods mechanical wise is just a K&N Drop filter and the Prototype ATLP Cat-Back NON-RES Exhaust. I've had those two installed since 2012 and had no issues. My problem is, after I washed my car at the self-car wash my car started to sound like a Subie WRX! However, I did the whole 'drive off after washing the car' kind of thing to air it out and it drove fine. After I let it sit for about an hour and I took my fiancee to her school on the freeway, it suddenly started to sound like a Subie!
It idles fine and initially it didn't have any CEL or any other warning lights. Once we got to her university, I parked the car and let it sit for about an hour and half. Started it up, then the CEL, VSA, SHAWD, Hill Start Assist lights went off.
Once I got back to our place, I disconnected the battery to see if an ECU reset could fix it, nothing. It seems to accelerate okay and it idles fine with no dips or anything, however, I did a test on 6th gear going about 30mph and pressed on the accel and it bogged to a point where it almost stalled. Normally, it wouldn't do that. Also, it does seem like I would have to press in the accel a little more to get the speed I want to maintain on the freeway.
So, I'm a little stumped, any help would be great. Thanks guys and gals!

I have for sale a set of very good condition Type S rims off of my 2007 Type S. I'm selling them because I bought a new set winter ASPEC rims and already have a set of Advan summer rims. Tires are Yokohama YK580'a that are basically brand new. No bends or cracks in the rims. There is just a tad bit of curb rash on two of the rims. They also come with TPMS sensors.

SEPTEMBER 4--A Minnesota hardware store manager confessed to police that he twice ejaculated into the coffee of a female coworker who told cops that the beverage tasted strange on several occasions, but that she chalked it up to "spoiled milk."
A criminal complaint filed today charges John Lind, 34, with two counts of felony sexual conduct in connection with incidents at Beisswengers hardware store in New Brighton, a Minneapolis suburb. Lind, seen at right, manages the stores plumbing and heating department.
According to investigators, the victim contacted cops last week to report that she believed Lind was leaving bodily fluids in her workspace. The woman recounted discovering Lind standing over her desk with his back turned and his hands near his genitals. She added that when Lind spotted her, he had a deer in headlights look on his face.
The woman said that she then examined her desk and noted a strong odor that resembled urine, but was somewhat different and strange, adding that the same odor was coming from her coffee mug. The victim told cops that she found fluid dripping off her desk onto the floor and believed the liquid was either urine or semen.
Most of the liquid, the woman told cops, had been absorbed by a hair scrunchy, which she placed into a plastic bag (and later turned over to police, along with the coffee mug).

HIDextra lacking customer service....
So after reading reviews in here for overhauling my HID system for my 03 TL-s, I paid the $60 for my 5k setup...The package gets here and I start to doing the soldering and get it all done etc. I plug the ignitors into the bulbs and one of them wouldn't stay into the bulb...I look at the bulb and saw that it was broken. The terminal at the end of the bulb was missing. I figured maybe it broke off etc so Im looking around the head lens and couldn't find it. . The broken end was inside the box it came in with. So I called customer service and no answer on a Thurs on the 28th and emailed them also. Friday the 29th, received email(see pics) stated to "swap bulb for new one through their program". Keep in mind, THIS IS A BRAND NEW KIT. So at this point I called and talked to cust service rep Elaine. She said they would send me new one. So labor day weekend happened etc etc. Its tuesday the 2nd. no email, no tracking, nothing. So I called...no answer. Emailed them...you can read the responses down below.....So at this point, I bought another set of bulbs from another site. So now check this....The setup works but when I first turn the car on, Pass side doesn't work unless, I cycle the lights on/off. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY.

Is cold air intake really worth it?
Hi, guys. I have a '97 Acura CL with a 2.2L engine. Is it worth it to add a cold air intake? Does it really improve performance where I can really feel the difference? Right now I am using a K&N Air Filter. Also, how do I add fog lights to my car? Do I need buy a mount to install fog lights?

How does my timing belt look?
Hey guys, while pulling my PS pump to rebuild it, I thought I'd pull one of the timing covers and take a look at the timing belt. The car is an 04 TL with 105,386 miles. I just recently got the car so I don't know if the timing belt has ever been replaced. When I pulled the cover I was pleasantly surprised, the timing belt looked good, not old/cracked. I'll post some pics below, maybe you guys can offer me some input as well.
PS I would like to replace the timing belt, however I'm a little tight on cash after having just replaced my transmission and rebuilding my PS pump.

Turned the crank over several times, and it looks like the above pictures throughout. Do you guys think it's safe to leave this timing belt for another 5-10k miles? Thanks for reading

VLED V3 Triton Amber Switchbacks - 2012 TL - Anyone done?
Hey guys
Looking to see if anyone locally has installed these on their 2012 TL. I tried tonight and ran into some issues, and had VLED on the phone. Was popping some fuses, not sure why car is newish (28K) and this is the first i'm doing anything to it. They're plug and play, so not sure what's up.
Anyways, if anyone has done them locally, and gotten them to work, would love to chat. I haven't had the car long enough to know it's quirks, and it seems to have more then my old 3G.

Black trim around side mirrors
ARGH! Just screwed up the finish on the black trim on the side mirrors. Had a micro fiber with some bug and tar removal on it and accidently brushed the black trim with it. It appears to
have removed the finish or discolored it. Anybody know if the plastic pieces are solid black plastic or if it's just a black finish? Looks like total crap. Should I attempt to repaint these or
replace the whole dam mirror?
