I noticed that XLR8 has options on there website for round tips as well as the oval tips that most people have. Does anybody have a pic of the exhaust with round tips installed?

Dashboard light meaning?
I'm just curious what this green light below the fuel gauge means. Are there any online guides for what the dashboard lights on a 3rd gen TL mean?

Engine overheating
Temp gauge shot up as I was sitting in traffic; pulled over and found the throttle body inlet hose had ruptured..finally got around to replacing it and added some coolant in the radiator just as a precaution...
took the car around the block after replacing the hose and temp still shot up...
anyone run into this problem?
I'm guess it has to be either the water pump not working properly or maybe the thermostat sensor..

CL: Adding a Sub
I bought a 2003 cl type s a year ago and I wanna add a sub woofer to complete the already nice audio system but i've heard there are issues in adding an amp and sub to a bose system because the stereo lowers the frequency when you turn up the volume on the head unit. Any help would be great.

Function Form Type 1 fitment question
Hi guys, just wanted to know if the F&F type 1 for TL 2004-2008 will fit fine on the 2007 TL type S. Also, if anyone has the exact coilover, how is the ride quality? I'm just looking forward to lower the car and soft to mild dampening as it's for daily driving.

Throttle cut off at 4~5 k rpm on 4th gear.
Hello, I have been lurking the forums for a while and I couldn't fin any info on this issue, I have a 04 TL with 60K miles on it, it's 6 speed M.T.
The other day I was running on the highway at 4th gear and still accelerating, when the engine was about at 4500~5000 rpm I felt how the engine stop accelerating for a moment (like when the engine cut off power over the red line), something similar, the check engine light popped up. I keep driving with no changes at all, the gears engaged normally, the throttle felt as usual. I was on the highway so there wasn't any autozone near for checking the codes.
Then I did the reset ecu algorithm (key on 2, gas to the floor 1 minute) and the check engine light went off and I didn't know what the problem was (silly me). Today happened the same thing but the check engine light only popped up for about 1 second and went off again, it lasted the time the throttle was off (like I said, 1 sec approx), like a blink.
Somebody knows what it could be? To me sounds like a sensor or something electric, the engine runs fine, all the gears engage as they should, etc.
The only thing broken on the car it's the engine torque damper, the engine shakes a little, but everything else it's ok.

Saturday they primed the Front Bumper & Hood.
Today they painted.
Windshield was/is still in transit from NY :whyme:
At this rate Thursday or Friday is looking like the likely day I'll take delivery :wish:

Camber kit
Did some looking on this site but could not find a definitive answer. My rears currently have a camber of -3 and -2.7 and I'm wondering if I need the 3 pc kit or just the single camber arm. Any input would be much appreciated.

I recently purchased a 2008 TL type s and I really like how the OEM kits look.
I did some research and it looks like they are discontinued in Canada, and dealers from USA don't want to ship to Canada.
Does anyone know where I can find a TL type S front lip around Toronto (GTA)?
I am also interested in joining the car meets.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

steering wheel position,fuel gage 98 RL
Just acquired a 98 RL Basic Special Edition in excellent condition, however it has two issues I wonder if any members might help me with:
1 the steering wheel position will only extend and retract, the vertical position does not work at all
2 The fuel gauge only works some of the time, I have been using my mileage as an indicator of time to fill up. I have tried striking the dash with my hand to no avail.
The car is well worth what I gave for it, traded a golf cart for it.
It has 221600 miles on it and it runs great except for these two issues

Interior Lights, Nav, radio and ect not working
for some reason my navigation buttons like MAP and the button on around the navigation's only about 3 of them are working the rest are not. the radio button that says 1-6 which are the preset button only some of those lights work. i was wondering if those are bulbs i have to buy or need to be changed or ect. i read ton of diy and all i see is the BLue led conversation one thats way too advance for me especially with soldering this and that

Rattle around 2-3 RPMs
What's up guys? I've been a member for a while, but this is my first post. I need your help.
I have a 2009 Acura TL SHAWD Auto about 78k miles. I've had this car going on two years. The only work I had done is my windows tinted. So, it's been almost two weeks with this problem. When I am accelerating, between 2-3 RPMs around 2nd or 3rd gear. I hear a crazy noise, like a rattle, it almost sounds like I have on an aftermarket exhaust. So, I called one of my Acura dealers and he says it's probably my heating shield. So, I went to the Acura dealer where I purchased my car, we take it for a test drive and he put's it on a lift to see what is going on. After waiting about 30 mins. He comes back and tells me it's my b-pipe that causing the noise. He goes on to say that inside of this pipe something is loose in there. For the dealer to replace my b-pipe is $1100.00. I only have my power train warranty. Have any of you ever heard of this? Is this common? Should I go somewhere else to get it fixed or the dealer?

Car won't start. Please help me!!?!?
So I'm sitting in the parking lot outside of Applebee's right now...
Finish eating and went to start my car to go home and it won't start. This isn't te first time that it has happen. I have a new battery replaced a month ago also. My car have been having trouble starting lately and I'm not sure why. I know it's not the battery or the alternator for sure. I keep thinking it's the starter? The car cranks and cranks. It just won't start. It would crank for maybe 5 seconds before starting. It never has a problem starting before until today and 4 days ago. It just stop cranking. I do have a green flashing key light on the dash. I only have one key for the car also. It's a 04 tsx 6 speed. If anyone has any info on this I would really appreciate it...

FS: Skunk2 Upper Control Arms, great condition
selling a used set of skunk2 upper control arms, part #516-05-0004.
i got them from someone that used them for 4000 miles over 5 months. i wanted to put my camber back to oem specs but waited for my first tire rotation. just did my first rotation and my tires had even wear and i'm worried if i try to correct the camber i'll start rubbing again.
these are in great condition and look nearly new. i will even supply new cotter pins for install.
the price INCLUDES shipping to the lower 48 states. everything is packed and ready to go.

WTB: I need Rear rear control arms and cam adjust bolts. Mine are stuck in the rubber!
My very rear control arms that have the adjustable cam bolts are frozen.
I cant get the car aligned because they cannot be turned. I have heated them, PB blasted them, drilled tiny holes thru the arm itself into the bolt and squirted pb blast up in there.
Used air chisel and hammer... Nothing works! Im going to have to cut the bolts out.
Hoping to find someone that replaced there and has the arms and bolts laying around!!
