Was this a toxic cleaning mix?

On Friday I had a “cleaning crew” come by to do a deep clean. I saw them recommended on the Nextdoor app and I figured I’ve had some allergies...so maybe I can use a more intense cleaning job.

For my shower I told them to just use vinegar and baking soda to help remove any stains in the grout such as stubborn mold or mildew.

I guess the vinegar and baking soda products weren’t working well, so they decided to use a toilet cleaner I had here:

and then after used this dish soap to wipe it all down:

did this create any toxic fumes? I can’t seem to figure out if that toilet cleaner has any bleach in it. It doesn’t say it under the ingredients, but it also doesn’t say “no bleach”.


I did feel like my face was red when I went into that bathroom but want to make sure there was no toxic fumes or chlorine gas.


Anyone have any experience or insight?

VSA and SH-AWD lights on

So last week I replaced the turbo on my 2010 RDX, today I replaced the O2 Sensor (upstream), 5 mins after I left the shop my VSA and SH-AWD light came on. I turned off the car and started it again and it turned on in less the 5 mins after I put the car in drive. Has anyone else experienced this issue. I’m taking it back tomorrow to the shop.

2008 Acura TL Type-S in Carbon Bronze Pearl. This car is like my baby, I am the original owner and I love this car. I am getting a new car and have no room in the garage. This car was $38,940 (still have the original window sticker) when I purchased it in April 2008. It still looks like it is just from the showroom. I have never had any issues with the car and it is accident free. Take a look at the photos and you will see that there are no dings or dents. There is one minor scratch on the drivers side of the front bumper and some scratches on the bottom of the front bumper (which you can only see if you are laying on the ground). The car is completely stock.

-Automatic transmission
-46,834 miles
-Garage kept
-One owner
-Meticulously cared for. I wash the vehicle every week and apply wax 6-8 times a year. I apply leather conditioner to the seats every 3 months and use Aerospace 303 on interior pieces to keep them looking new and protected from the sun. I will be sure to apply a fresh coat of wax before selling the vehicle.
-Acura OEM trunk mat
-Acura shop repair manual (also including 1 OEM oil filter and crush washers)
-door jambs so clean you could eat off them

Maintenance

-Mobil 1 synthetic oil and OEM filer and new OEM crush washer used every 5,000 miles. The oil was last change was at 45,000 miles

-Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires installed on 3/20/18 along with a 4 wheel alignment at 41,500 miles

-As a precaution I had the timing belt, water pump, timing belt idler, timing belt hydraulic tensioner, outer drive belt, serpentine belt tensioner assembly, and replaced coolant at 37,048 miles on 8/10/17

-brake fluid change with OEM fluid at 45k

-Bosch Platinum AGM battery installed on

-OEM brakes installed on 9/27/2016

-Transmission fluid changed at 15k and 37k with Acura OEM fluid. Last changed on 8/10/17

-Tires rotated every 5k miles torqued to 80ft-lbs. and re-torqued after 100 miles. They were last rotated at 45k when I change the oil.

-new cabin air filter at 40k miles

-KN reusable air filter

I have all receipts from warranty work in the past as well as for the timing belt, tires, and tires. I perform all the oil changes and tire rotations myself. My father was an ASE Master Certified mechanic and I learned from him.

I purchased a roll of this by mistake and have no desire for it. If anyone wants this for $5 (plus shipping), it's all yours. I've never used it and the return window has since closed, so I'm trying to recoup a small portion of my loss. This specific roll retails at $20.00.

I have modified a few sets of headlights over the years and have accumulated a few spare parts that I no longer need.

As you can see by the title, I'm selling three turn signal housings for anyone who might need spare parts (At one time, I know I sure did).

One housing is in fine condition. The other two have a few specs of chrome peeled off and some black paint on the very far edges. If anyone is looking to black out your headlights and need a spare set of housings, just let me know. The prices listed is for all three, but I'll sell for $5 a piece (plus shipping).

Hi everyone,

I'm selling an EndlessRPM Fiberglass Hood trim.

Last year, I purchased a Shark Mouth grill and this fiberglass piece came with the kit. However, I was able to re-use my OEM hood trim, so I never needed to install this (my thread is detailed below) This hood trim piece comes primed and ready for paint or vinyl wrapping.

Did a 230K / 12yr OG Timing Belt kit on a MDX.

Hi folks… I finished my neighbor 2007 MDX T-Belt job aka "105K service"? thing is... He had pushed it to 230K / 12 years!!!!!!!!!!!


Resume:
-T-Belt showed no signs of cracks at all (This is in Dry So-Cal weather mind you). It was pretty pliable and the teeth were healthy, The Honda logo was no more but the belt number was still readable.
-Idler and Tensioner bearings had play on them nothing serious but they were a little bit loose.
-Hydro tensioner had oil on the shaft and seal but it was still holding pressure like new I could not push the shaft in even with all my weight over it.
-Water pump bearing had no play on it but it didnt turn over smoothly, Like it was binding? dunno but it wasnt leaking at least.

All in all it took me 5 hours, Installed an AISIN Kit TKH-002 with a Brand new Honda OEM T-Belt instead of the Mitsuboshi in the kit, (Highly recommended to go OEM instead of the belt in the Kit).

So my car recently got stolen and I just got it back yesterday . I don’t got the keys what am I suppose too do ????? . I was thinking on buying a remote start kit that comes with a push start , I seen that it goes into where the stock ignition is at which I think looks very nice . Do you think the kit would work ?? They are on eBay for about hundred bucks. And by the way my steering wheel is lock right now . How do I get that too unlock?? Please help

Car is Devouring Coolant

So I had a coolant leak and ended up getting a new reservoir tank for my TL-S. When I removed the old tank and emptied the coolant i found it was missing a rubber stopper and that was probably causing the leak. The leak was visible as I could see coolant sprayed on and around the reservoir tank.

Now with the new tank I don't see any visible coolant leak, but each time I check the tank is back below the minimum fill line. Not sure what's going on here, I probably drive about 4 miles a day to and from work. Any ideas?

Looking to purchase an OEM intake system for cheap.
I need the Inlet hose, airbox assembly, coolant/vac hardline, and all hardware associated.
Do not need/want the OEM intake resonator assembly in the bumper.

Should be in great condition, with no broken tabs, cracks, or tears.
Basically looking for someone who has the system laying around after an aftermarket intake install.

Will also consider a trade for the OEM parts plus cash for 2 month old Injen CAI system.

I'm in the Bay Area, CA for anyone that wants a local deal.

Post your favorite settings that make the 16-speaker system sound very good. Pls. Include EQ, ceiling speaker volumes and if you enable the simulated sound too. I feel the bass is a little lacking in mine, I know disabling the simulated sound adds bass but I'm not sure if it degrades the quality in return.

Wheels do have some curb marks but no bends, cracks, or chips.
The wheels will come with brand new 67.1 - 64.1 hub centric rings and M12x1.5 shank style lugs.

These are great to clear BBK. Also look great on older Evo's, Acura's, and Mazda 3/6's.

Reason for sale is change of plans.

I have a 1998 Acura tl 3.2 I changed the clutch and still can't get the compressor to kick on. I've checked fuses and there good. Is there a relay someplace that I could check.

Hi everyone, about 3 weeks ago the car stalled on me on a stop sign. I started and it was fine until 2 day later and it did the same thing, basically over the next 2 weeks it would periodically stall in low gears until and it kept on getting worse to a point which it would stall as soon as it was turnt on. The car is at the dealer now for the past 3 days, they said a new ecu is a $1000 but the part is back ordered until midish july. This kind of makes me think that lots of these ecu's are going bad, i ended up getting a used one for $500 and hopefully the car would be ready tomorrow, i was wondering if anyone else have or had the same issue.

07-08 brembo caliper question ....

So I disassembled my front calipers to get sprayed brembo yellow, when I went and installed them and tried to bleed the brakes my driver caliper was leaking from the middle and not were u bleed from. So I took it apart and figured it was thru the hole in the picture below. So I can’t remember if it came with a o-ring or seal so I went to disassemble the passenger side (was not leaking on that side ) but when I went to loosen the 7mm Allen bolts that’s when it started leaking so I’m assuming I didn’t have the driver side tight enough? So is there not a seal/o-ring? Or do I just tighten it tighter ?

Does this need a o ring ?
