Hi all! New to the forum, and am still currently on the search for a CBP with Ebony or Umber interior and having a difficult time finding one with LED sport running boards installed. Even ordered the boards on eBay but was told that they were no longer stocked. Frustrating. With that said, has anyone installed aftermarket boards on their ZDX? I found the following on a site online and it looks like they installed aftermarket MDX (08-13) running boards on their ZDX and it does not look too too bad. Thoughts?
2010 Cherry Tech with OEM LED Running Boards 2010 Crystal Tech with MDX boards?
What is up all i am new here just got a 2008 Acura TL 3.2L and might need some help with stuff down the road so wanted to join up here and here it is my 2008 TL only had 1 owner other then me was a older lady and she took well care of it has 134k mile but a lot has been replaced she always took it to Honda for the work on it as well.
So i am looking for a exhaust setup that hits deeper notes i like the kinda like a muscle car any video's on some would be great and where to get them as well Thanks all.
Its looking like I may have to be replacing the key cylinder on my 2000 Acura RL because Im experiencing trouble turning it to the off position to remove my key when I shut the car off. I assume that this cylinder is just mechanical, and is independent from my coded key and immobilizer unit. The Acura tumbler kit (06721-SH3-415) I assume will come with a new key which I will then have to have coded to my immobilizer unit (thats not a problem because I have the Red Learning key,) it will just add to the cost of the repair. Im also thinking maybe a locksmith could just replace the tumbler to fit my current key too, but would like to know if any forum members have experienced this issue and what steps I need to take. I'm "assuming" a lot here (never a good idea) so if any one can "enlighten" me I would be grateful.
As the title says, I'm thinking about purchasing a 4th gen. It would be my main daily/family car but would be doing a few mods to take to local meets. I currently have 2 cars and a motorcycle, I'm thinking about down sizing to just 1 newer car for everything. Plus I want to buy a house (instead of rent) in the near future so 1 car insurance, 1 tag renewal and 1 car personal property would be nice. So my questions are
#1. Does the 4th gen have a vibration issue when lowering on coilovers? Not looking to slam it, just tuck the very top of the tire.
#2 How does the AWD version do lowered?
#3 Besides the oil consumption issue are there any other major issues?
#4 What is the difference between tech package and advanced package?
#5 How does the interior hold up? (my 3g has 1 crack in the dash and the passenger seat has a tear in it)
#6 Any other advice would be greatly appreciated
Also I was looking at 9th Gen accords as well, So if anyone has experience with then as well would be great
Man in a wheelchair, 33, who defecated during his trial for burglary and THREW it at the judge before eating the rest in front of a horrified Florida courtroom is acquitted on all charges
:what: of course it's Florida
Well the :turd: hit the court in more ways than one.
A criminal trial was halted temporarily in Miami on Friday when a defendant defecated into his own hands and hurtled feces across a courtroom, just before closing arguments were set to commence.
Dorleans Philidor, 33, aimed the unsavory missile at Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lisa Walsh during his burglary trial, yelling: ‘It’s protein! It’s good for you,’ according to witnesses.
Thankfully for Walsh the excrement narrowly missed, but the defendant’s dirty protest prompted a frenzied evacuation from the courtroom with lawyers and the judge scrambling for the exit, as county police officer rushed to restrain Philidor.
The defendant had been sitting in a wheelchair to the right of Walsh until a bailiff suddenly called out to the Justice and urged her to seek shelter.
Witnesses say they watched on in horror when moments later Philidor appeared to eat the feces as officers worked to restrain him.
‘It was intense. The corrections officers and police officers were swarming. Like 60 of them,’ said witness Allen Rios to the Miami Herald. ‘They told everyone to leave and you couldn’t go back in. It was a hazardous area.’
Undeterred by Philidor’s actions, Walsh proceeded with the trial in a separate room while the original setting was closed for cleaning.
After just one hour of deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty for Philidor’s burglary charges.
According to reports, Jurors were not present when Philidor ‘cast feces’ across the room.
Despite his acquittal Philidor will remain in custody as he is also facing a separate trial in a grand-theft-auto case.
It’s not yet know if he will face additional charges for the attack, but courtroom officials say this isn’t the first time this week that Philidor’s behavior has delayed court proceedings.
On Thursday during a lunch break, the 33-year-old defecated on himself, smearing it all over his body and on the walls of the cell.
Despite his acquittal Philidor will remain in custody as he is also facing a separate trial in a grand-theft-auto case
Corrections officers were forced to haul him away through a public hallway, which was soon tarnished by a fecal stench.
An entire wing of the second floor of the building had to be quarantined off and disinfected as a result.
On the request of lawyers and the court, doctor’s assessed Philidor to see if he was feigning a mental illness, but he was adjudged to be fit for trial before Friday’s display.
‘MDCR staff and Correctional Health Services (CHS) Staff will continue to monitor this inmate and will provide extra security precautions to avoid the events from reoccurring,’ court spokesperson Juan Diasgranados told the Herald.
Philidor has also been accused of breaking into a North Miami Beach home while the homeowner was still inside. He was captured shortly after she called police.
Considered a career criminal, Philidor could face up to 15 years behind bars if convicted in the grand-theft auto case.
Just finished a trip up to WI in the new RDX for a few days at the lake and came home with a few gremlins to report:
1. Tried to cancel a nav search and it froze the nav system. Audio still played on the secondary screen but I couldn't switch it to the main screen or get control of the nav system again until I stopped the car and shut everything down. Worked fine after restart but not great when you're relying on the nav for directions.
2. Driving after a rain and started getting a parking sensor warning that something was very close to the front left corner. Went away as my speed increased but would return each time I slowed to a near stop/stop. Got out and checked for anything stuck to the car but it was all clear. This kept happening until I shut the car down completely and worked fine after restart.
3. Automatic wipers started working as i drove on the highway on a clear day. I could turn them off but returning the switch to auto brought the back to life each time. Once again, turning the car completely off seemed to fix it.
Aside from these system gremlins, the car was great to drive and my gas mileage was about 26mpg on 87 octane. Just wish they had spent as much time on the technology components as they did driving dynamics. Never had a car that needed reboots as much as this one.
I have a 04 RSX and I have surging problem at Idle I have changed the Vtec Solenoid and Did a valve adjustment !
It still surges anyone know how to fix please thank you!
Ive seen only one other - at the dealership. None on the road. I bought a CPO w 7400 miles on it and really like the color.
Is BCP a color that wasnt well received and didnt sell?
i dont even know - was this an up charge color?
is it a regional distribution issue, I.e. does this color sell well in cooler climates?
what do yall think of the color (if you have ever seen one, I guess)?
Yall please forgive punctuation and spelling. I had back surgery two days ago and i am medicated)

So, yesterday at about 5am (today I guess?), I decided to bring my friend home from my house because we stayed over at my house when my parents were gone. Neither of the parents knew about this of course, so we had to leave earlier so nobody would know the difference. So I was driving on a highway (this is after an all nighter - no sleep), and I can be kind of a fast driver. I am also not the best decision maker because when I saw the light turn yellow way up ahead, I decided to go through it. I was going 85 in a 55 zone too, when I saw a police officer turn his lights on behind me. I'm 16 by the way. So I just think, 'well, I'm actually dead', thinking this guy was going to give me a ticket for three different things: going 20 over the speed limit, being out during curfew hours, and also running a red light. Apparently, he didn't really care much about the first two things. He said he was going to give me a warning and it would go on a record. The problem is I CANNOT have anything on my driving record because my parents will 1. be really angry and 2. kill me. I won't have a car until i'm 18. So I'm extremely grateful that he was so lenient but I just want to know if the warning is going to go on my driving record, or if my parents will be able to find out. Legal/Parental advice are both helpful in this situation. I live in michigan, if that's helpful. Thanks in advance.
I don't know about you guys, but I really don't care for the "piped in engine noise" that Acura is purported to have done with the 2019 RDX.
Question 1: Is this factual? Did Acura actually do this?
Question 2: Is it reversible? Have any of you asked the dealer if it can be turned off?
IMO if in fact it is true, it is a rather hoaky and bush league thing to do.
It's probably my age, but I don't really need the "vroom vroom" factor with my Acura.
But all in all I love the RDX.
How do you guys feel about the engine noise being piped into the cabin?
Wife is looking at a 2016 RDX coming off lease. We are about to close, but i see that MDX are no more than, and sometimes cheaper than, the RDX. Given that the MDX started out $10K more, why on earth are they the same or less?
Should we look more closely at the 2016 MDX? Consumer Reports says they are unreliable and folks don't like them, but I don't have a favorable opinion of CR, TBH, so wondering if folks here have a 2016MDX, and if so, do you have any issues? Things to look for in shopping used?
Hi, does anybody know what the street price, money factor, residual, etc is for a hybrid MDX tech package for 36/12k lease?
Are they still in short supply?
Im looking to buy Cosmis mrii black chrome wheels for my 08 type s, 18x8.5, 22mm offset. Obviously I would get the correct bolt pattern but I was wondering if anyone knows if these wheels would clear my brembos without spacers? If anyone knows please message me or let me know, thanks!
I want to upgrade part of my exhaust system to make it sound louder and better. I want it louder but not obnoxiously loud or anything, just a nice sound to it. I am wondering if it will affect the back pressure of the exhaust system, whether I get a muffler/resonator delete or put in a better mid-muffler/end mufflers. Will this affect the back pressure negatively or cause any performance/engine running issues? I don't want to cause any problems by doing this.
Also, does anyone know mufflers will sound good on an '05 TL 6-speed that are relatively inexpensive? looking to upgrade the sound without spending too much
