2019 #14 Touge.ca event @ Shannonville Full Track lapping on July 21st, 5:30pm - 9pm, Sunday evening
Hi all drivers,
Let's shake down the cars and get into the hot season with our #14 event Shannonville Full track!
We have the track 5:30pm - 9pm, Sunday on July 21st.
We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass, No Signal No Passing. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.
For those that have never been to the track, we encourage you to try it out, even if you're still on stock/all season tires (they'll suck, and burn up quick, but it's still fun)

👋🏻 so I ran into this problem in my Acura 2006 just a couple days ago when engine started overheating with AC on. I checked what I could and it turns out that:
- when engine cold in the morning I turn the ignition ON (engine off) theres 12.4v and the condenser fan works slowly.
- engine on, AC on, NO voltage on condenser fan Ac works flawlessly but NOT the fan.
When AC works like for a longer period of time, turn the engine off, ignition ON the condenser fan doesnt work like it was in the morning. On the next morning it does again (lower pressure?)
Does it have to do with a pressure in the system? Just a thought. 🤔 💭 Could it be the ac pressure sensor? Or just a wire? No f idea Ill tell ya. Been struggling to no avail.
I havent posted in a while, things have been good, but two weeks ago I had to replace the starter.
Who ever designed the battery tray to bolt like it is should be tortured. By the time I got the lower bolt closer to the firewall off, I had a bruised partially scorched forearm.
To top it off, who knew the starter for a manual was different than an automatic, so after a second trip to a different part store to get a starter for a manual, I put everything back together.
Wouldnt you know it, as it always happens, there was a bolt leftover. Anyone want to guess where it was supposed to go?
This time there was a leftover on purpose.
Hey I have a 2001 Acura CL Type S, The car can either be in motion or parked idleing and it will randomly shut off, when it shuts off, the green light key is still showing on the dashboard, everytime I would start it back up and it would be fine, One time it didnt even completely shut off, it shut off for half a sec (Everything on the dashboard just died) and then continued like nothing happened, I just changed the fuel pump and battery less then 6 months ago and alternator is good.
I got 2019 SH-AWD base package now couple of weeks back and now realizing the need of Blind spot detection.
I have added those small convex mirror to side mirrors and this help a bit.But I still miss the blind spot camera from my CRV.
Wondering if there's any way to use external camera and provide feed to infotainment system.
My 2014 MDX A/C stopped blowing cold air. It blows, it's just regular air. I am thinking it may be the A/C fuse and A/C Clutch relay from reading the forums, however I can not figure out what fuses/relays these are and where they are located as the MDX manual has very cryptic descriptions of each fuse diagram. Can any one help - and will autozone typically carry OEM replacements? Thanks!
I have a 2003 acura cl type s 6 speed with a fully rebuilt motor. Engine compression shows over 300 psi per cylinder. Car does not show any signs of smoke from tail pipe. Upper intake manifold was cleaned, but now the inside of the intake is completely covered in oil. Piston rings and valve guides/seals are new. Has no oil leaks. Uses 1 quart per 350 miles.
90k on the mileage. Automatic, Car went into limp mode
tl type s code p2138 this code popped up. Shut the car off and restarted. Drove fine. But the idle bounces almost with a hesitation. Like lacking power. Ive seen this code a lot for an APP sensor? But, my Type S is drive by wire. So Im not sure if the fix that everyone does will work for mine ?
2008 RDX, Blue, Advance AWD package, 20K miles, really clean. Was a Honda corporate car for a year. Certified pre-owned. $33K even, and the dealer will not move from the price. It seems like a fair price, but not a great price. Wondering what others think.
Okay, my son managed to pull the sub-seal loose from the top of the passenger door on my 2010 RL. I'm looking at this and I can't figure out for the life of me how this thing attaches to the door. How do I re-attach this thing so that it will stay?
So im looking to purchase some Aodhan DS02 18x9.5 +22 offset
I believe this is the current set up most people use. I currently have an all stock minus coilovers 07 Acura TL Type S, Im decently pretty low and will raise the car if needed to.
What i need to know for sure is will this size fit and what tires will fit perfectly(Clearing brembos). ie: Hoping to have it flush to the fender and little to no stretch(if possible)
Open to all ideas and help!!!
Hi,
Few days ago, I heard some kinds of strange sound while opening the hood. It is rough sound like nail scratching on wood or sound of your vibrating phone on wooden table. My timing belt was replaced at 130k kms ( now my car at 190k ), I am not sure that the water pump is replaced or not but I did many search and it doesnt sound like a failed water pump does.
The previous owner claims that he already changed all belts, sparks before selling it.
and moreover, I just started to use Lucas UCL in my last two tanks, IDK if it causes this sound or not.
Hey guys....Im brand new on here and Im proud to say I bought my first Acura TL 3rd gen last week. I took it in for a 4 wheel alignment because the steering pulled to the left. Afterwards...it still pulled the same. I myself swapped the front to rear on both sides since they were directional tires and now it pulls to the right. Took it back and they readjusted then told me that "all vehicles mfg the past 10 yrs or so are designed to pull slightly to the right in case drive falls asleep to avoid crashing into oncoming traffic" The Mgr told me to bring it back if i wasnt satisfied. Huh? I know you guys are the pros....HELP!
Has anyone bought replacement headlights from ebay that are made by 1A Auto. I tried to remove the residue on my and noticed a crack in one so I might as well just order new ones. If I can find a decent set of used O.E.M.'s for a good price I rather buy those but if not I guess it would be replica ones to buy.
