Hello guys. I have a 2000 acura 3.2 tl we run circle track with. It recently developed a problem. When were racing and the temperature gets up to center or a little pass the engine shuts off like you turn the key off. But you can cycle the key off and on and it will start right back up and run fine. I replaced fuel pump but it still does it. What could my issue be? Im figuring a sensor of some sort. And sometimes when you restart car it has rough idle. U can shut it off start it right back and car idles perfect. Doesnt make any sense to me. Any help would be appreciated
It looks like it might be fun, but based off the trailer I don't see much separating this Rambo film from any other Stallone film since Rambo 4 (minus the Rocky ones ;)). It gave off more of a Stallone vibe and less of a Rambo vibe, imo. I guess we'll wait and see when more trailers come along.
On Friday I purchased a 2019 ILX with Premium package in dark gray with brown interior. I have a few questions about my car that my owners manual can't seem to answer:
Between the tachometer and speedometer, there is a small screen that reveals information regarding fuel range, tire pressure, et cetera. One of the screens states, "Turn By Turn Waiting For Smartphone Guidance". I'm unable to get it to work. I have an iPhone 8 with iOS 12.3.1 connected via CarPlay (USB. Does anyone know how to get it to work?
In the Owners Guide, there's a page that describes two key fobs "keyless access remote." A two-way version and a non-two way version. The two-way version has a button for remote start. However, the sales person indicated all packages (A-spec, technology, premium) do not have remote start. My understanding is some older ILXs came with remote start. Also, the current generation Honda Civic has remote start. Is this a feature I can add? if so, how?
I learned low battery voltage can cause a # of issues you might not think. Apparently, the electronics in this car are very sensitive to proper battery voltage in order to work properly.
- The ABS and VSA lights going on needed to be corrected and Paul, our star stellar mechanic here in Nawth Jerzy could only do so after I installed a new battery.
- I had an intermittent starting issue whereby the 1st turn of the key got it to only crank (full power), followed by a successful start on the 2nd turn.
- The HFL that would almost always misunderstand the first digit of a phone # I recited then got it right on the 2nd attempt when trying to make a phone call.
- Sometimes, voice commands like AC ON had to be repeated twice in order to be understood.
A battery test revealed barely 11V, and a replacement was in order so I got a free one under the 3-year replacement warranty from Walmart. The yellow EverStart Maxx 24F, the top rated battery in Group 24F in Consumer Reports.
Everything works as it's supposed to now and all is right with the world. :thumbsup:

I was attempting to recharge my 2002 Acura RL with R134a after changing the compressor using AC gauges and a can of refrigerant hooked up through the yellow hose. I noticed that next to no refrigerant came out of the can (I had it on a scale) but the pressure went up to 60 on the Low Port. I didn't open the high port to charge. The compressor didn't kick on and no more refrigerant came out of my can.
I then rechecked the Service Instructions I have an it says this:
2. Open the high-pressure valve to charge the system
to the specified capacity, then close the supply
valve, and remove the charging system couplers.
Does this mean I should have tried adding refrigerant to the HIGH pressure port? Isn't that normally a no-no?

Does anyone have any specs on LED replacements for instrument/dash light bulbs, the ones with the twist-lock base? I need to replace a bunch of bulbs in the steering wheel (volume, cruise control) and in the climate control buttons. The standard bulbs from the dealer are so expensive, and I'd be happy if the buttons were a little brighter with the LEDs.

I'm selling a set of stock Acura TL wheels. I ran one set of stock wheels in the summer and one set of stock wheels in the winter.....these are the summer wheels so they've never seen any snow or salt on the road.
Wheels overall are in really good shape, 3 don't have any road rash and 1 has some really minor road rash....see photos.
Selling all 4 wheels for $400. Local deals only so Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
Is it based on a database, or is it based on reading the posted signs by camera? I'm sure the salesperson said it was by camera, but we all know how reliable salesperson speak is.
At first, I was sure it was from a database. Then I noticed it was accurate while I was driving in a two year old construction zone on the local Interstate. (55 vs 65). If it camera based, I suspect it won't always pick up every sign.

What up folks?! Been a member for a while. Here some updates on the TL. It's an 08 base. Added Brembos with Tein Flex Z coils and Konig Illusions 18x8.5. 25mm spacers all around to give it a little better fitment. Looking to replace them with some 18x9.5s or 18x10s soon.
After a while, got a Type S front lip. Had it sitting in my shed for a good 4 months before I got time to put it on.
List of things to do: -Possibly rear lip -18x9.5s or x10s -headlight mod(Might be taking the amber out with some new lenses and a 55w HID kit) -Jpipe -exhaust(most likely just mufflers for the time being). -next year...possibly supercharger....
