Driver's side rear window won't roll up from master window control.

In my 07 TSX, I noticed recently that the rear driver's side window won't roll up from the master control. Usually, there's a pretty audible click noise to let you know that the window motor is being engaged to roll the window up. Right now, I only hear that when I roll the window down.

At the right driver's side window control, I can roll the window up and down no problem. I've tried replacing the master window switch, I've checked the fuse and tried swapping it with the rear passenger side window fuse and there was no change.

I'm not sure what to check next, I was able to roll up the window from the master control switch a couple of times when I opened up the driver and rear driver side doors. I was thinking this perhaps has to do with the link that goes through the pillar between the doors? Not sure.

Any advice is appreciated. If there's a better place where people talk about these kinds of things, I'd also be interested in that. Thanks!

Hello everyone I’m new here and I have a question about my Acura RL 2009 SH AWD
whenever I turn on the AC I hear a loud humming noise coming from the front end which I think might be the compressor , any thoughts ? Thanks guys

2017 MDX SH-AWD, high pitched noise?

Hello,

We are nearly ready to pull the trigger on purchasing a 2017 MDX SH-AWD with about 33k miles. During our test drive, my wife noticed a high pitch whine noise after I performed hard acceleration followed by simply letting my foot off the gas and coasting a bit. The high pitched/whine noise was during the time after releasing the gas while the MDX started to slow down. Radio was off, the sound seemed to be coming from the transmission.

Is that a normal sound on these vehicles? We do not have many to select from for additional test driving to confirm, so just curious if others noticed this in their vehicle. It was quiet enough I think normal radio usage would cover it up...

02 tl stalling after startup

I’m new to this forum stuff so bear with me...

my 02 tl starts perfectly, idles a little high (1100 rpm), but when you try to accelerate it starts to stumble and attempts to die. But it never dies or throws a check engine code. I’d relate it to being like a carburetor with a bad accelerator pump. I can pump the gas pedal and get it to move in a jerky fashion or If I just hold the pedal in one spot it tries to die, then accelerates then tries to die. However 30 to 45 seconds of this and it runs perfectly. It does it with the engine hot or cold, and weather appears to have no affect. Ive cleaned idle air control, no change. I’ve tested the tps with my code scanner and it appears to be fine. I’m baffled. It seems to be something in the initial startup phase but I don’t know a lot about these cars. This thing has given me 255k of reliable miles and been a great car and I can’t let it beat me on the first difficult issue it throws me.

I am new to the Acura lifestyle, and I am reside in Virginia. I recently purchased a 2003 TL with 113,000 miles and am enjoying it. I read about the tranny problems the vehicles have and got a little worried. I have no mods on the car, I have added a Pioneer double din to the vehicle and I am about to install a rear camera. I hope to learn a lot about my vehicle from this forum.

2003 TLS -I have code 53-1 = ABS pump motor relay short, VSA, ABS, Exclamation lights

I just got my the recall done (second time) on my air bag inflator and on the way home, I hit a pot hole and immediately abs, vsa, and exclamation/triangle lights came on.

Ran a scan, it had 3 codes 53-1 = ABS pump motor relay short being one of them and cleared all 3. 53-1 immediately comes back and the others went away. Tested all wheel speed sensors with the scan tool live data feature and they're all working properly. I attempted to test the ABS pump with live data as well and all the device would show me a is a fluctuation of 3.9 to 4.2 volts on a graph, but the voltage did move if that means anything relating to functionality.

I will test abs with a hard stop later today but wanted to see if anyone has any advice to further troubleshoot this issue.

Reverse tilt door mirrors

I noticed that when I reverse, only one side tilts downward (either left or right, but not both). Is there a way to activate both mirrors? Thanks in advance

Question on Updates

I have had 2 instances where a little update icon appeared on my screen. On both occasions, I parked in my garage, connected to wifi, and clicked on the icon to run the update.
On both occasions a message came up that my software was up to date and the update icon disappeared. But it doesn't appear to be updating at all.
Is this normal?

Does your opinion of a car company impact whether you drive their vehicles or not? This is unrelated to any quality perceptions. For example, do you even consider driving a VW/Audi because of the dieselgate scandal? Or dismiss them altogether because you perceive them as corrupt? Or do you only consider a Ford or Toyota truck because GM and Chrysler were part of the bailout? Or vice versa, do you consider a Honda because the one you're looking at is made in their Ohio plant, which is on US soil? Or buy a Subaru because they're the "little guy" in the vast Asian car market?

2019 Honda passport VS Acura TLX

So I started reading Car and Drivers article about the new 2019 Honda Passport and noted it has(J35Y6) 3.5L 280hp motor with the infamous ZF 9-speed albeit updated while weighting over 4200lbs and can do 5.8 0-60?!?! The SHAWD TLX weights around 3800+ and has the same (J35Y6) 3.5L motor tuned differently of course with the ZF 9-speed and car and driver tested that one at 5.7 second 0-60. Why pray tell can an SUV targeted toward the outdoors do so well at acceleration while being much heavier?

P2648 & VTEC not engaging

I've had this issue going on for about 6-7 months now and I can't seem to fix it. I've done every troubleshooting step in the service manual down to replacing the entire solenoid assembly and still no fix. I'm not sure if there's something else that would be causing this but I'm plum out of ideas. I have very recently been getting an intermittent P0137 code as well but that only started up a month ago and not sure why it'd be related.

I have also replaced my battery too before we go down that road. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey what maintenance would you guys recommend at 59k miles? I’m doing trans fluid change oil change and coolant change. Since it’s 12 years old is why I’m doing maintenance. Maybe power steering? Any ideas appreciated.
