Loving the color combo. I think I'm gonna try installing this myself. 5ft by 1ft wrap only cost $13 from Amazon. The other items you'll need are a hair dryer/heat gun, x-acto knife, and maybe another pair of hands to help you pull the wrap while someone else heat guns.

How do I cut power to Nav screen?
06 TL w/ Nav. I have the disc read error. Tried fix but no dice. Alpine wants $750 so just gonna let it stay broken.
I'd love a way to cut the power to the nav screen so I dont have to look at that stupid green error message. But still need everything else to work.
Anyone know if it's possible to cut a specific wire on the harness that will do this?

No high beams, no turn signals, no fog lights
new to the group, hope all is well. I have a small issue when I was driving my 3rd gen TL today. Randomly the fog light/ headlight indicator blinked a few times in no particular order and went out completely. My headlights work, and my parking lights only only work with my headlight switch on. Then noticed neither one of my turn signals are working, but my 4ways are fine. My high beams, outside air temp gauge isnt working nor is my intermittent wipers. Im thinking multi-function switch, what are your thoughts

2012 Acura TL sh-awd no running lights.
On my 2012 Acura TL I tried installing the LED lights with resistors for my front signal lights. Tried every way there was to hook it up and got hyper flashing or nothing at all. Long story short I blew a fuse for my signals witch is #9 fuse in fuse box under hood. I swapped it out & put the stock signal lights back in and all was well. Now my problem is when I turn the light knob (left of steering wheel aka signal knob) to activate my brighter factory led lights I have no running light where the front signals are, rear tail light running light and license plate light. Also when you lock the car those lights should also flash on for a second but they dont anymore. Checked the 7.5A fuse under dash #15 and fuse was not blown. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi All,
My wife just bought a 2019 rdx aspex couple weeks ago and we notice the following:
-Changing the preset Radio station using the thumbwheel on the steering wheel. she gets a system error, function unavailable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't has a mind of its own.
-Apple play/ blue-booth-- I notice this happens within 2 mins of the conversation where the other caller cant hear but we can.
-AC was set to 68 and hot air was blowing. I turned it down to low and increased the speed to max and that's when it started working properly.
If you had any of the following please let me know and the fix they did. I have an appointment set for tomorrow 5/14/19 for them to review all my concerns. I will keep everyone updated with the outcome.

Head restraint / headrest is so uncomfortable!
Is anyone else having an issue with the new headrest design? I'm 5'1, and I have to sit on 2 cushions to have a comfortable view above the steering wheel on the highest seat setting. But now I'm thinking I need to buy a 3rd cushion because the headrest, even on the lowest setting, is too high, and it juts forward into my head/neck area. It's especially uncomfortable when wearing ponytails and up-do hairstyles.

Navtool solution to failing DVD drive?
Wanted to install back-up camera on my 05 Navi model that has a failing alpine drive(constantly restarts).
Will navtool not work if the dvd drive is constantly rebooting or does navtool just bypass the drive to throw in the back-up camera footage?

Is it possible to disassemble a door handle/door sensor?
Ill save you all the boring details.
My driver side door handle sensor is not working. Passenger side one works great. I know this is a common issue and have trouble shooted it to no avail. It does not even work intermittently.
My car is meteor silver and I have sourced a complete white door for $30.
My question is, can the sensor be taken out of the door handle and put into my correct color handle? I dont mind digging into it. Just curious if it is possible for those that have replaced theirs previously. Any help would be appreciated.

2006 tsx 6speed idle problem
So my 6speed tsx idles At 1500 while in neutral still moving.. and at a complete stop it idles at 1k.. and when its rolling in neutral sometimes it would pass 1500 to 1600.. anything after that the idle will start jumping up and down.. is it bad throttle bad tps idk? Help!! I have no clue

Not warm enough where I live yet for A/C, but I recall last summer/fall there were comments that the A/C was not particularly cold. Wondering if anyone has had an opportunity to use again now that we are into spring and almost summer. ..and what your thoughts are.

2016 RDX Advance - Bumper Protection Tips?
I just picked up a black 2016 RDX w/ advance package. I keep it parallel parked on busy streets all the time (no garage) and want to protect the bumpers as much as possible without compromising the front and rear sensors. For me, cosmetic concerns take a back seat to protection. Any product recommendations?

Converting Michael Jackson HIStory to use in RDX
Got a copy of Michael Jackson Video Greatest Hits - HIStory lying around, wanted to use it in the RDX since it's in 5.1. However, not too sure how to convert the wav file I ripped from it into a file compatible with the RDX, since when I tried it in the car it just made some weird static and other noises.

Draining Battery
My 09 MDX, every 2 weeks it drains the battery. I can jump it and it'll be good for another 2 weeks or so and then go to start it and it won't have enough juice to start. It started happening a couple months ago. I bought a new battery and it happened twice, in the first month. I took it back to the battery shop and they were going to charge it, but it was so drained that they went ahead and replaced it. Approx. 2 weeks later, same thing. I called the battery store they said I must have a constant drain somewhere. I told them they probably received a bad batch of batteries. So, to prove me right, I took the battery out of the MDX and swapped it with my '13 TL. TL also has a new battery (less than a year, no issues). So, it's been approx. 2 weeks and I'm waiting to see if the TL will drain. Well blow me over, the MDX wouldn't start this morning....
It has never stalled or threw any codes. While it 's running, I can disconnect the battery and the MDX remains on. I'm guessing this is the universal quick alternator check. If it was not charging or has a weak charge, I'm guessing once the battery starts to drain, it'll eventually stall or throw codes. MDX is driven daily. A few times, I can start it fine in the morning, drive it and in the afternoon, drained to no start. Yes, all battery connections are clean.
Anyone experience anything like this?
