Tlx a spec AWD indicator acting weird

I just picked a brand new TLX a spec. I noticed that the AWD screen is acting weird. For example, if I am taking a slight left curve with slight throttle, the awd drive indicates that it send more power to the rear left wheel. This is very strange, since the system shall send the power to the outside wheel not the inside. This situation doesn't happen for hard curves under hard throttle. In this case the car send more power to the outside wheel as it should.

Does anyone experienced this with the car? I owned 2013 to awd before and that never happened.

I was checking underneath my TLX AWD and found a welded piece to my j pipe just infront the third cat. Is this normal? Is everyone have this welded metal piece?

I currently drive an 04 tl base model 5s automatic and having restored some features her previous owner neglected i was hoping for few tips or what tipe of handling to expect, front suspension was redone with air intake, radiator as well as 2 front engine mount replaced oil change and other including parts to reservice accompanying what I re did to her, she has 189k km on Odom and honda service tech says transmission A1 after trying car, also brakes redone too, i Beleive in only needing a soon service of timing belt and re alignment and i think I've done all she needs, so what should I expect from here out?

Replacing leaking transmission cooler hose 03 tls - can i just buy normal hose

Need to replace a leaking transmission cooler hose connected to my radiator. There are 2 hoses. I plan on doing a 3x3 transmission flush and want to know if I can just buy regular transmission cooler hose from advance auto and replace the two hoses during one of the drains. Is it as simple as remove and replace or do I need to take any additional steps?

Buying 2005 tl advice

Thinking about buying a 2005 tl with no navigation for 8k.It only had 1 previous owner, excellent service history and has 73k miles. The exterior has no scratches/dent/peeling. Interior seats has no rips, only thing wrong is the entire dashboard is cracked. Good deal or no ?

Hello everyone, newbie here.
My GF's 2015 TLX 2.4L has recently starting giving her issues. About a month ago it suddenly refused to start and only had a very rapid clicking sound. Autozone tested the battery and said it was good but only tested for voltage so when I brought my good tester it showed that the battery had a bad cell. Replaced it and all was well until last night. We left my house and went to one store before dinner. After leaving the store I drove it about 100 yards to the restaurant and we went in to eat. When we went to leave the car wouldnt start again. Just does a single click sound and nothing more. I took the battery to a different autozone (My tester is at work). They threw it on a load tester and it came back bad with the exception of saying it had 84% charge which is probably due to trying to crank with no start.
After that I began to think it was the starter, no local stores have it but I took it out and had it tested at Pepboys. They ran the test several times and the starter worked flawlessly.

I am stuck now, the only think I can think of is a start relay but the only one I can find info on is the one inside the big fuse box under the hood and its within a smaller box all soldered onto a motherboard type of thing. Has anyone had this happen and know a fix? I am about to get back under it and check to see if voltage comes through the starter wire when the ignition is hit but I cant think of anything else to do. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi everyone, am looking for some help please.
I am looking for the location of my relay switch in my 2003 mdx. My At temp light is on. We've trouble shotted because our rad fans won't come on. We direct wired from the battery. They come on. We checked the fuses they are all good. So next step is relay switch and or sensor. I'm getting really frustrated because I can't find it. lol hopefully someone can help me out. Many thanks in advance

Brake pedal acting up sporadically.

I replaced the front brakes (rotors, pads) and bled them. Thought I got out all the air but the pedal was mushy. Tried bleeding again and that didn't help much. Brakes got better over time but now the pedal almost goes to the floor sporadically. Some days nothing. Other days frequently. Replaced the master cylinder, still didn't fix it.Took it in to the dealer to have the brake system flushed. They flushed it twice because the first time didn't get all the air out. On the way home I had the same problem. Do you think it's the VSA module? I think I read that being an issue. But why now?

Center Console Dash AC Vent Broken

Need some help with the Center AC Dash Vent. The Tab was not turning the blades and now it has fallen off inside the duct, I can see it but can't get to it to pull it out. Also, any idea how to fix the blades to turn?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys.. I'm just getting the chance to do my rear struts because of the horrible winter here in New York.... I'm at a small snag... I started pulling thing apart but as you know rust and salt screws up everything... I'm planning to go the route of unbolting the bracket that bolts into the rear knuckle to get the strut to slide out due to the endlinks not budging ( Future replacement).

Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolt on that end link bracket? It's nowhere in the manual.. Their instruction is to pull the end links which is next to impossible atm.

Changed my clutch but having problems shifting into gear.

Hey guys, so i just got my clutch changed with an fx250 clutchmasters. It doesn't shift smoothly into each gear while its running. My mechanic was telling me that I need to upgrade the clutch slave cylinder because it doesn't enough pressure to disengage the clutch from the transmission because even with the clutch fully pushed down, CSC doesn't have enough force to push the fork that disengages the clutch. I was wondering if there's a performance CSC on the market that has more pressure? I'm new to cars so I'm not sure if what I typed made any sense as I'm interpreting what I understand and i don't understand all to well lol

My headlight is suddenly seem high, I try to lower it. There is adjustment on top of headlight and I turn about 50 times and it doesn’t seem to move? Any idea?

The car has never given me any issues. Paint is in good shape for the age but there are some rock chips and small scratches on the car. I did not daily the car during my ownership so the mileage over my two years of ownership equated to less than 5,000 year. 99 TL...Upper radiator hose ripped..What could be faulty?

New user here..greetings readers!

I own a 99 TL. I love my car even with 210k miles on it.

My newest issue with car is, yesterday while sitting in a parking lot, with engine running, I saw steam coming from under the hood. Temp gauze was still in middle.

Checked under hood, to find an ‘inch’ sized rip on upper rad hose with coolant all over the place and under car. Found a cloth to tie/block the rip and starting driving home 4 miles. On way, temp kept going to Full H RED. Stopped 3 times on road, with steaming hood, flashers on, shut off engine to somehow cool it down for 2-3 mins to make to home.

I am newbie to this. Got Gates branded upper hose and replaced myself today. Also filled full gal Honda AF. Hand pressed rad hose to get as much air out. Drove 5 miles just now and Temp did not go above middle. Both upper/lower hoses were warm.

ISSUE: Rad fan is not turning on after noticing 2 mins with engine running. Both fans came on IF I start AC full hot.

INFO: Timing belt, water pump, belts, thermostat were replaced 2 years ago. Radiator 1 year ago.

CLUE: Alternator replaced 4 months ago. Since then i hear like grrrdd...grrdd..noise from belts. More so in morning and when accel’ing. Could overtight belts have caused water pump to go bad?

Question: Where do I go from here? I still don’t know what caused overpressure in upper rad hose in first place. Is it water pump already bad or resetting belt can save it?

I have (2) 17" wheels from my 2010 TL with Michelen Pilot HX MXM4 tires

245/50R 17 98V tires have about 1500 miles on them.

Wheels are in good shape.

Looking for $400. for the pair. Local pick up only (Mass.)
