So about a week ago I got a code for the app sensor at the same time my car started blowing white smoke out of the exhaust so I changed the app sensor and it is still blowing white smoke every once and a while when I start my car. Now it is shooting a p2279 code anyone have any ideas
I have a 2013 TL with 108,000 miles. I recently changed out the MAF sensor because I had a code and even after cleaning it and resetting it still ran awful and kept stalling. I put the new MAF sensor and a new air filter too. Good improvement in performance, but not 100% so I put new NGK plugs in and ran a can of Royal Purple Max Clean through it. After all this, I'm still getting a rumbling sound at start up and a little hesitation too. Any ideas ? Thanks
The road lights in the bumper - what do they do? Why are they there? They only turn on with the headlights. I thought they would be daytime running lights or fog lights but they seem to have no purpose. Can someone please explain?
Im about to pull the trigger on a 2020 A-Spec but the problems and fixes sub forum has me running for the hills. Infotainment quirks dont bother me, every Golf GTI and Golf R Ive had never had a fully functioning infotainment system.
The concerns for me are the limp mode problem - my 2018 Golf R had similar problems when demanding WOT responses from the car so I got rid of it for that reason, too damn dangerous. The other concern is the oil dilution problem people are having.
I know forums are a double edged sword and anyone, owning a RDX or not can post whatever they want. But this car seems to have an awful lot of problems...

I saw in some old threads a few accessories that I'm now considering, but am sort of on the fence about. The silicone license plate holder is a maybe. My dealer had no holder, so my plate is just sitting on the car, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm not a huge fan of silicone and I rolled my eyes at the manufacturer ad on Amazon where they were showing a car that was completely destroyed because it didn't have a silicone license plate holder. I've never seen so much damage on a car before. It was like a tree hit it. But I did sort of like the look of the border on someone's photos, so maybe. Also, I hadn't even thought about a key fob protector. Again, the only one that fits the five-button fob is silicone and I hate silicone. So that's probably not going to happen. The only other thing I was wondering about was insulation for the panoramic sun roof? I saw on the shield screen thread that someone said they put insulation under the sun roof because the inner part that slides back to expose the sun roof is thin and poorly insulated. What do you guys think about that? I don't want it to be silly where if I roll back the sun roof the insulation falls on people.
Anything else people think is cool for their car? (I'm talking about normal accessories, not painting brake calipers like you guys seem to all be into, lol.)
My 2002 TL - Type S with 5 speed Auto front subframe has rusted out and cracked. The sway bar popped out. It was my daily driver so I'm trying to get it fixed fast
My mechanic will replace the frame for $500 if I can find the part.
Does anybody know how interchangeable the subframes are? It'd be great if I could use an Accord one.

My 2012 Acura TL has 120,000 miles on it. I notice the first start of the day or cold start after a few seconds it makes a rattle noise. I have already done these maintenance a couple of months ago a trans flush , new serpentine belt, new battery and spark plugs. I attached a video the noise is at 10 seconds in. Please let me know if anyone knows what part could be causing this noise. Thanks
I know that might sound childish but most of us here bought the RDX for a reason, normally for me it is a nice overall SUV with a nice engine and sporty performance and handling, and great for Detroit streets with all the cracked asphalt and pot holes!
however I was shocked today as I finally had the chance to drive a bit fast that it limits itself to 110mph give or take 2mph.. thats in sport plus mode and S drive!

2019 hot season is here, let's shake down the cars at our CTMP Mosport DDT lapping event with our drivers and friends.
All Beginners are welcome!
Now, We're starting to build a list for the track day signup for the July 1st Canada Day Long weekend.
We have the track July 1st Canada Day Long weekend @ Mosport DDT from 10:30 am - 5:00 pm booked, cost will be $239 prepay rate for each participant!!
We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a 2 or more warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the straights, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.
Format: Depends on turnout, Two groups (15-20 mins each session), no Lunch break (10:30-5pm)

New drivers/First time beginners are strongly recommend to attend our track school with instructors to make sure all safety and fun on the track themselves with others, please email info@Touge.ca

Can anybody please tell me whats going on with the car and how do I fix it please.
Is it my imagination or are others noticing that the Drivers Seat Memory does not work as its intended when starting the car? I have my seat position set up to move back when I turn off the car & open the door. Sometimes it moves back slightly & other times more. And the seat does not always reset to my original Drivers position 1. Usually it does not come forward enough & I have to manually reset it & lock it in again or readjust the mirrors. Anyone else experiencing this??

I was driving on I-35 in Austin a few months ago and heard a rock hit the windshield and instantly a small crack appeared. These two pictures in this message were taken today. It has gotten just a little worse, and I know if I do not get it fixed, it will definitely get worse in the winter time. What are my best options? I know I can easily make it worse on my own, so do you think any body repair shop will take care of it?
Up for sale is my Raceseng Slammer shift knob that is in excellent condition. It weighs in at 635 grams and is a worlds difference over the stock knob.
