HELP! - Stripped Lug Lock Nut No Room To Get In To Remove
Hello, I have an 04 Acura TL with Konig wheels, today I went to autozone and grabbed some lug locks, by dorman, which I knew probably wasnt the best idea but I went for it anyways. So I went to torque the first one and I felt it slip and I was like uh oh thats not good, let me take this off. And nope, not coming off. Completely stripped. No room to get in there to get an extractor on it. So I need some reccomendations on how to get this damn thing removed. I dont want to damage my wheels. Can I go in through the back of the wheel and grind the head of the stud off and bang it through? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im anxious as hell hoping I didnt completely screw myself. Replacement Spring/coil question
So I have coils on my car already, I don't necessarily dislike them, but the ride comfort just isn't even remotely there, even after adjusting the dampening screw. Along with a pretty intense rattle from the front and won't hold an alignment.I really would love to swap to a-spec springs, but can't seem to find any since they were discontinued. If I was to change over to springs again( I don't have the car lowered, bought it with coils on it already) mainly going for comfort but a bit firmer than stock, what should I go with? or should I buy a better set of coils?

Sway Bar Bushings
Is there an easy way to get to the bolts without dropping the sub frame? Can the sub frame be partially lowered to access the bolts? It looks like you can get to one bolt easy enough but the aft bolt is tucked away.

2019 Acura RDX sluggish in the initial gears
Bought a 2019 Acura RDX a couple of weeks back, so far so good.Not sure if it has been like that from the start or its happening recently, but I am observing that engine is struggling in the initial low gears every time I press the accelerator after coming to a complete stop at traffic signals or stop signs. There is no problem with the pick up, but engine roars with loud sound struggling a little bit in the starting and then it takes off.
Just wanted to check if anyone has observed this or may be it is happening only to my vehicle

K&N Drop In Air Filter
Hi All. Has anyone here had any experience to speak of? Specifically looking for anyone with 50K+ miles running the K&N drop in panel high performance air filter and their learning? Own a 2013 TL Advance FWD with 55K miles and Ive owned it since new. Ive just purchased one and thought if I wouldve bought when I replaced the first filter at 12,000 miles I would have now started to save money. My car runs so smooth, fast, and looks great. Plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off. Please share any/all experiences?

DIY Ceramic Coating
I'm sure someone must have done DIY ceramic coating on your 2G RDX. I've been recommended these products www.R1coatings.com and GTechniq Ceramic Coating from other subforms.
Are these the same as C quartz/ Opti-Coat which have been on marked for several years now.
I'm interested in only reducing my car wash / maintenance frequencies and not aiming for a showroom shine. I'm not particularly bothered to do professional coating (as several members prefer) simply because paying over a grand for exterior coating is not what I consider prudent for a five year old car. I usually park the RDX outside in my driveway. I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks.

resetting Oil change with 15k rated oil
So I just did first oil change in my 12 since getting in November. It is the mobil 1 15k rated oil. I was just under 7100 miles and reminder was at 15% but going on trip so needed to do now. I usually run 10k miles on previous chances. And knowing the computer calculates the change based on driving conditions, has anyone just reset theirs half way through at 5k miles?

Body is in excellent condition for its age and its completely stock. Best Bank 1 replacement Cat
Guys. I have a 2007 Acura TL Type S 6MT that throws a P0420 code off and on. I've ran my OBDII code reader and also taken it to the local muffler place for an diagnosis and estimate and they told me that I need a new bank 1 cat. I ordered one from All Star Exhaust Systems (allstarmufflers.ca is their website). It doesn't match the stock unit very well (see pictures). Most notably, it's a little smaller in diameter and shorter length overall and there are no mounting spots for the heat shield, overall just doesn't look as solid as the stock unit either. I emailed them and they replied that they would give me a full refund but also said that "it will fit, they sell a ton of these, and I don't need the heat shield". What are your thoughts?

What is the best replacement cat to purchase?
Is it worth it to pay $600 for a true OEM unit?

Need help diagnosing an issue
Hello guys! I bought my 07 base around 5 years ago with 84k ,now is at 115k , around 90k I did the tranny pressure switches and a tranny flush I never had Any issue with the tranny and right now I don't know if it tranny related, like 1 year ago I noticed the blinking d on the dashboard ,didn't feel anything wrong ,use the scanner and it was the tranny gear switch ,bought it but never installed, and never had the issue again. Like 6 months ago I went in a 20 - 30 miles highway trip, when I exit the highway I stop at a light and when it was time to hit the gas the car was moving really slow like it doesn't want to accelerated right in front was a gas station so I pull into put the car in parking and then in drive and it was fine , drove the whole day and never had any issue again , so I was thinking that it was my imagination. But now my wife told me that it happened to her last week and yesterday we went into another 30 miles highway trip and time after I exit the highway and was at a light it happened again , the car start moving really slow I hit the gas and the revs went to like to 2.5 and the car was still moving really slow I press the brake and then the gas and it was fine! Drove back with no issues , one thing I need to mention is that my wife told me that when it happened the radio went mute and yesterday she point that out too, I didn't noticed because it was only for like 5 seconds, the scanner shows no CODES. so I don't know what to do.

Aftermarket Cross Bar Install
I installed these aftermarket cross bars on my '14 MDX today. I didn't like the look of the OEM black ones and the price was a bit much. I was able to get these for $175 and couldn't be happier with the look.
Tools I used:
T25 Torx Bit
5/32 Allen Wench Hex Bit
WD40
Microfiber towels
This was a pretty straight forward install, except for adjusting the bars so they are flush against the roof rails. The best way for me was to tighten one end of the cross bar with the T25 Torx bit and connect it to the roof rail with the 5/32 allen wrench. I didn't tighten bolts to the roof rail too much. I just put it in enough so I can maneuver the opposite end up and down. On the other side, I lifted up the cross bar and adjusted the width to fit and then tightened it to the corner bracket. Once that was done, I tightened it to the roof rail, and then went back and tightened the first side. I sprayed WD40 in the holes of the roof rails and also on the bolts it came with before the install.
These things are heavy. Each weighs about 6 pounds. I primarily got these as I plan on taking a road trip and installing the Thule 614 Pulse. I will try to tackle that next and post pictures. I will report back on wind noise before I install the cargo box. Overall it took about 45 minutes to install. What do you think? How does it look?

Rock Auto Send wrong Brand? Luk Slave Cylinder
Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience? So I purchased a Luk lsc391 slave cylinder for my 04 TL and got it today and thought it would have the luk logo on it or some definitive feature to show it is a luk. I thought it looked kind of cheap. so I took the check delay valve out and installed it and bled the clutch lines. So Im looking them up to make sure I got a luk, but I found an image that looks identical to what I got, it has a black piston not silver, and no marking on the mount like the luk one does. The roll pin on one side was only half way pushed through and there is a slight conical indent on one side where the roll pin goes. So the image I found that looks identical is a duralast slave cylinder. I found the image by typing 04 Acura TL slave cylinder. The thing is, Rock auto sent it in a Luk lsc391 box. Are they screwing me? Or was this by accident? Should I worry about it too much? I dont know if I necessarily want a duralast sc on my car. Any input would be appreciated! I cant get a hold of rock auto customer service. Thank you!

2003 CLS6 Clutch Pedal Adjustment
I'm trying to adjust the clutch pedal on my 2003 CLS6 and need some insight from other manual trans owners.
In adjusting the clutch master cylinder pushrod (in/out) to get the recommended 6" pedal height, there are two nuts on the shaft that are jammed for locking.

- I can only get a wrench on the outer nut and thus can't unlock them. What procedure is needed to access and loosen the nuts? (Turning one just turned both).
- What is the small gold-ish cylinder between the pushrod and the clevis? I'm concerned that if I turn the pushrod with the nuts jammed tight, which can be done, something inside this cylinder will be damaged.

Modified 2g RL headlights
Up for sale I have a set of RL headlights. They have been modified by a guy named JNC from this website. Many of you may know who he is. He has been doing headlights for hondas and acuras for many years. The headlights have a matte black housing with a gloss black projectors. They also have a set of projector lenses which give a sharp cut off line. I thought they were the zkw lenses but I was informed that they were not. So they may be the TSX-r lenses. Also the amber has been tinted a bit. There is absolutely no cracks or water leaks. All brackets are intact. I would give the outside lenses a 8 out of 10. I've had them on for almost 5 years now with no issues what's so ever. The reason why im selling is because I just bought a set from the Russian connect. I always wanted the clear corners. I will include the ballasts and ignitors as well. I also will include a set of 6k d2s bulbs from the retrofit source. Please look at the pictures I have uploaded. If you need more just let me know.
