Acura 2001 CLS with 155K on it. Stock shocks aren't blown out by any means but medium single hit bumps don't feel very good. smooth roads the stock (original) shocks feel great but chatter and decent size hits and they feel a bit clunky. I can't imagine the original oil inside of them is any good anymore.
I am more than capable at throwing this car through some backroad turns hard enough to make your stomache drop but honestly with a car this big and this old all it does it destroy the stock rubber suspension bushings, so I typically drive this car nicely and I value a nice solid compliant street ride.
I'm considering just getting some new OEM struts for about $90 each. I think they have some kind of progressive valving stock from Acura.
Anyone have a better recommendation? If I want better handling I figure I'll just throw on bigger sway bars.
