another headlight query

first time honda owner

i have read several threads threads on this issue with my 03 cls-6.

my basic question is could i purchase this kit and wire in following one of the many write ups i have come across?
or just splice it in myself...

seems straight forward but i figure i may waste a bit of bandwidth for my first post.
