Want aggressive look, but where to start?!

Hello to everyone, so this is my first post... I've been looking around at different threads and can't figure out how to go about doing what I want..

So, I want an aggressive look for my car (2005 TL - Base) but don't know where to start... I haven't bought wheels or anything yet and don't know whether to go with lowering springs or full coilovers... I was thinking about maybe a 19" wheel but again, I'm new to offsets, etc... What would you guys recommend I do? I want to go pretty low maybe right above the actual rim... where do I start? please let me know if you guys need any more info of what i want... hopefully someone can help out there! :wish:
