A few months ago a bike rider crashed into my drivers side front fender. I got a color match OEM fender and am trying to get the damaged part off.
The problem I am having is getting the exterior trim piece that goes under the drivers side door removed. It blocks the last bolt that attaches the fender and I can't seem to figure out how the hell to get the damn thing off.
I've removed the body fasteners under the car and have unhooked the small little clip that holds the end of the trim piece in place at the wheel well behind the mud sill. There is still something really strong holding it in place. I tried to pull on it thinking it was a pressure clip but it wouldn't budge and I didn't want to break anything. it's right under the drivers side door hinge area that I am talking about
Can't seem to find any info online. Any help would be great
