Acura 2013 TL SHAWD~ does it need to be reprogrammed?
Had to replace my emergency brake after I brought car in for B16 service. Noticed the silver button on the handle was broke. Don't know how they did that and didn't think it was a big job but it was. Needed to replace the entire handle. This all happened last month and to mention I had to go there 3 times because of careless mistakes on their part over this. If the car wasn't still new with only 13k miles on it, I would of left it alone but no way!
My driveway is a hill and use my e-brake. While rushing to work this morning I realize I left it on (slightly) and the car never alerted me. Before replaced I couldn't move an inch without it loudly alerting me. Worked perfect.
Before I have to go there again this Monday to fix it what can I expect so I don't leave without another issue.
Does it just need to be reprogrammed? Love my car, no issues but the service department, though nice have been very careless and as like everyone else, I'm too busy to have to keep to going back on my day off to check this stupid emergency brake :annoyed:
