Console Light Location?

I have seen mention of a light somewhere in the center console, perhaps inside the storage compartment beneath the armrest. I see on parts catalog diagrams a light bulb, but it's not clear the exact location. I have inspected the console of my 2003 Type S 6sp, but can't find any light.

Does my car even have such a light, and if so, can someone tell me exactly where it is located, and when is it supposed to be on?
