When my car warms up after being driven about 20-30 minutes, it begins to have trouble shifting up 2-3; downshifts are fine and not hard. A CEL is thrown, VSA light comes on, and D5 begins to blink.
Now I've read this is likely a soon-to-die transmission but is there ANY point in pulling the dual solenoid on the top of the tranny, right under the battery tray, to check it and clean the screens? Or replacing the 3rd/4th gear pressure switches? Or am I wasting my time and $ and should put that towards a Tranny swap with AV6/Odyssey?
Again, when the car is cold, there aren't any issues. The problems are appearing after the car warms up about 20-30 minutes.
It's not a money issue for me it's the hassle of finding a tranny, etc. Just don't want to go down that road unless I'm wasting time/$ trying to "fix" the issue. I guess I'm holding out hope there's a chance it's something simple..
