2001 CL - 241,000 miles, car was running great until check engine and TCS light came on.
Car will run at low RPMs and shifts ok, under moderately hard acceleration the trans slips until the RPM is lowered and then it will kick back into gear.
The code says torque converter, solenoid problem. Is it worth just putting in a torque convertor or should I rebuild/replace trans?
Also, I have noticed on Car-parts(dot)com that only the 2001 CL trans will interchange. Can I use a TL or Oddy trans?
Any advice is helpful.
Thanks
Mark
