I have a 2001 cl type s when leaving work smelled a wire burning type of smell from the air cond vents,seemed to go away on the drive home(30 miles) went out to drive the car now battery is dead.disconnected battery to charge then will try to see what shorted out,had one code that was a knock sensor but didn't show anything else,the knock sensor code has gone off 2 times now but don't think that was the smell .anyone had this problem so I will know where to start on this 180000 miles on car now Thanks Steve
