Acura CL 2.2 vs 2.3L

Hi all

My uncle has a 97 2.2L CL. His engine bearings are bad, so we're looking to do a swap. There's a 99 2.3L on craigslist for sale and we're wondering if we did a swap, what changed? Will the transmission fit okay? What about the alternator, and any other components? Will we have any trouble doing this swap with purchasing just the engine? Just FYI, we're not very car savvy, we'd have someone else do the swap, so forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions.
