Need help indentifying transmission

I have a 98 CL that the transmission started slipping on. So I ordered one from JDM Tiger Japanese.com. The one they sent has a bundle of wires coming out of the transmission near the bottom on the passenger side from behind a little plate bolted to the transmission that mine did not have. Any idea what year transmission they sent me? What are the wires for? Is there any way it will work in my car?
