I have a 99 CL 2.3, 5 speed and was doing regular maintenance yesterday afternoon.
PS pump had saturation, so decided to replace gaskets as oppose to buying a new one, of course.
Took apart pump, cleaned it up nicely inside an out and replaced all rings/gaskets.
Back together (I believe) in the same order take apart and notice when car is on/idles, acts as if car has no power steering, yet when driving/accelerating, steering is free and acts as it should.
Any thoughts on this?
Thank you.
