I got a 01 CLS w/ on its second tranny, replaced at 55K. I got 113K on the car currently. Had a 12 qt flush done by Acura back at 95K. Tranny has been working well, but recently, when I first start it in the morning, back out of my driveway and shift into drive from reverse, there is a noticeable delay (1 second or so) longer than what I've been used to (bought it new). Subsequent attempts from reverse to drive have no delay. The delay seems to get longer as the temperature drops. Its about 17F out tonight, and it might have been as long as a 1.5 - 2 seconds when I backed out of my parking spot at work (sat all day). Normal shifting seems to be fine, alittle harder shifting when its cold, before things warm up, which is expected. I have no shift indicator lights coming on, fluid smells ok (I've burned up my share of trannys).
Just wondering if anyone has run across this type of problem. I'm hoping that this isn't the first sign of a failing trans.
