I was in an accident in the Ice storm we recently had in TX. I filed a claim and have an adjuster coming out tom to look at the car got some questions.
I told them I am going to have one shop do the body work and another fix the suspension issue that resulted from the wreck. They aren't going to be able to properly diagnose the suspension issue the adjuster is pretty much just going over cosmetic damage at this point from what I understand.
1. Cant they cut me a check on site for the damages if its under a certain amount I think 1500 or less? Also if the shop needs more $ to fix it will they fax over reason why and see if they can supplement the extra $?
I am trying to get parts ordered ASAP, so I was hoping they could just cut me a check on site for at least the cosmetic damage.
2. Have any of you successfully gotten more out of your INS if its needed by the shop finding more issues?
