Anyone plastidip their window trim ? (progress thread)

Hey guys, before I tackle this, i searched throughout the forum, and I found that most of you guys don't prefer to blackout the chrome window trim on the car, and it is understandable, because there's usually a lot of work or money involved when it comes to taping it off with trimbrite, or having a reputable installer apply it. I've always had all my trims blacked out by tape.

so this time around I wanna tackle the use of plastidip to blackout the trim, if all goes well, I will save up to $120 on this job compared to sending it out to get it done.

btw, has anyone done this before? I'm a little afraid it might not turn out as perfect as the videos because our window trim have some rubber covered parts that just doesn't seem ideal for the tearing of plastidip.

stay tuned, whether I fail or succeed I will update this thread :)

God bless,

Kevin
