I noticed that the temperature seems to be rising a bit while I'm driving. While I'm at idle, it seems that the fan is kinda delayed and not turning on at the right temperature. It seems to be turning on when the temp needle is at 60% and sometimes it seems the fan isn't coming on at all. I turned on the heater when the temp was rising above half and and the temp was going a little bit higher but never to the danger zone. When I turned the heater off, the temp started coming back down to normal. The temp also rises while the A/C is running and also while going uphill. There was a leak in one of the heater hoses, in which I just had fixed. I also just replaced both the upper and lower radiator hoses, along with another new fan switch. I'm wondering if this can be my thermostat going bad causing the fan not to turn on at the right time. The fan relay is fine, as I switched it with one of the other relays. I also noticed that when my fan was running with accessories switched on, there was smoke that seemed like it was coming from the left side of the engine. The head gasket, timing belt, water pump, thermostat and fan switch were all replaced in feb. last week, I had that leaking heater inlet hose, both upper and lower radiator hoses, fan switch, and temp sensor replaced. I have no idea what it is anymore. The only thing I can think of is the thermostat again because the mishimoto one I had put in back in feb isn't lasting more than 6 months. Any suggestions?
