2012+ TL rear seat dome lights

Hello all,

I tried searching but could not find an answer to this. I have a 2012 TL. Is there any way to control the dome lights in the back seat?? When sitting in the back, the lights do not turn on/off with the button, unless the switch near the moonroof is on "DOOR". I have people complaining that the lights don't work back there, but they turn on when I turn hit the "ON" switch up front.

I know a simple solution would be to leave that main switch on "DOOR", but is there a another way to control the back seat lights and have the front switch in the "OFF" position?
