I got rear ended today. Of course the other driver had temp. plates and no insurance. First real accident I have been in, so I don't know how this all works. My car has a lot of damage (see below) and knowing the KBB value, not sure what is going to happen. I was literally about to order new breaks, exhaust and set up an appointment for tint this morning so that I could drive it for at least another year. Luckily I still needed to talk to my mechanic buddy first. What should I do? What is likely to happen? How much damage is actually done (Bumper, trunk and a tail light for sure)? I've been debating getting a new car recently, looking at CLs6, TL, Foreter xt, Legacy GT/XT. Changes everyday though. Any opinions or experience in this type of situation would be helpful (pics below)
