3rd & 4th pressure switches , why replace them? Explained.

I bought my TL back in early month of 2012 and notice very hard shifting from 3rd to 4th gear (3rd being near reline and shifting into 4th), the shift is hard similar to inexperience driver driving MT car during 1st and 2nd gear engagement. I read the article here on AZ about the switches and how the new switches helps with smoother shifting so I decided to do a following procedure.

1. AZ recommended 3x3, I actually did 5x3 (dealer performed 3 times and DIY by me 2 times with 5k miles interval for the first 3 and 10k miles after that). When I got the car Honda dealer already did drain and fill for the 60k miles service, I checked and confirm that the new fluid present on the car.

2. After 3x3 I see improvement in the shifting, grade logic isn't so noticeable as once was, however the car rarely does hard shift from 3rd to 4th or versa. I decided to do the final item on the list.

3. 3rd and 4th pressure switches is done during my TB/WP services and now the hard shifting is gone and I did notice the response every time I press the accelerator.

The dealer asking me "if it's not broken why do you want us to replaced?" he just curious and I told him "sensor over time had drifted out of calibration on pressure" but I got no real number to back up this claim except for what we all experience before and after. So I decide to dig a little further for research and come up with this, hoping to share with every body. This apply for most Honda AT including the older model with data provided explain why Honda AT prone to failure.
