TLX tail light removal

Can somebody tell me how to remove the tail lights on a 15 TLX? I heard you have to remove the rear bumper to get to them and heard you do not? Can somebody help me out and tell me how to do it?:thumbsup: Having the tail lights lightly tinted to take some of the red out.
