Looking to upgrade my Audio system in my 07 TL Type-S. i have gotten the speaker situation handled. I'll have Alpine Type-R components up front and Alpine Type-R Coaxials in the back all powered by an Alpine PDR-F50. I know it's not great but it was given to me as a gift so I ain't complaining.
As far as bass goes i was thinking of going with 2 10" Image Dynamics IDMAX D4 powered by a Massive Audio N4. I'll get a custom box built to either use the existing the sub location as a port or check something else out.
Where I need help is OEM integration/ Bass restoration. I was talking to a local audio installer but he just threw products my way without answering questions. I have at the forums and still haven't found an answer either. The tech was praising the Audio Control DQ61 like no tomorrow. i was looking at it online and it sounds like the way to go. My question is, i like to listen to a lot of spanish music (yeah I'm mexican) and rock that often requires some sort of bass restoration. Will i need separate bass restoration hardware or will the DQ61 handle it? Or would you guys go with something else and why?
