Haven't posted for a while - had an 08 TL for a while (boring car, hence no posting)
Then bought a 2000 2.5RS with a swapped 05 STI engine, tranny, and driveline - always wanted such a car due to light weight, power, looks, ect...
Have been driving it daily for a while and totally enjoy it
Originally I wanted an S2000 but could not find a decent one with a good price
then a good deal came up on an AP2 S2000 which I jumped on right away
Now I am stuck making such a tough decision - I can keep both cars but it's greedy and does not make sense financially - wife is upset too - so made a final decision to suck it up and sell one
The S2000 has been the car I always wanted (after I sold my 91 NSX a while back) and after driving the Subie, I am now addicted to the power (not willing to modify the S2000 - out of the question)
I live in Toronto - so if I keep the S2000, I will need to get a cheap honda winter beater (max $2-3K) - which will more than offset the maintenance costs on the Subie (obviously the Subie will need more $$$$ on the long term due to turbo maintenance and repair costs)
The problem is they are completely different cars - and I love both for different reasons
Just thought I would share that and take opinions
Car will be daily driven (except the winter for the S2000), and 3-4 days/year max track fun
