Car was delivered from Houston to Little Rock. Unloaded in front of house last night at 7:00pm. Didn't have time to check it out or read up on anything. Now I'm at work and busy. Car has been sitting on a lot and needs the battery charged.
Just to be sure I don't FU right away, is it OK to charge the battery without disconnecting the cables? I figure there is a radio code like my 02 and no telling what on the nav system will need resetting if I disconnect.
And the Nav system is much more complex than I figured for an 06 model.
I know nothing about it, and it is not like my GPS unit on my boat. I'm going to try and read up on it today at work.
All I had time to do last night was turn it on. It continued to show the Houston area. I figured it would automatically go to where it currently is when turned on & acquires satellites.
Is there some simple thing I can quickly do, or is it going to have to be "set-up" all over again?
