First of, I am so glad I stumbled onto this site.
Here's my problem: Bought a car from a high mileage car dealership and two weeks later my gears start slipping. The NEXT day after they start starting slipping, I find fluid puddling, and not just a little, under my car, and the car will no longer switch gears out of first. I checked my trans fluid and its low. Now in anyone's opinion who can legitimately weigh in on this, did someone do a little bit of hidden BS cover up to get me off the lot? I have driven it less than 100 miles and this happens.
Also, if anyone knows a trustworthy transmission mechanic in L.A. (I live in the Hollywood area), please let me know.
