engine oil questions

I put synthetic oil and due for an oil change. Dealership is using total oil , is that a good synthetic oil and Acura approved?

Alternatively I can buy mobil1 synthetic and have dealer change that oil , how many quart does our cars need, have a 10 Acura TL
