OEM clutch won't fully disengage, *help*!

Having some clutch problems, will try to make this as cut and dry as possible. Car is an 03 cls swapped 6mt. Originally (about 2 yrs ago) was running a p2r disc /w stock pressure plate. For some reason, the clutch was not fully engaging with the pedal all the way out. It would slip up hills, under power etc. Could not figure out why so to remedy the situation, I ended up putting about a half inch worth of washers (spacers) on each stud of the pedal/master in an effort to pull the pedal rod/master more "out". This worked fine and the clutch grabbed fully, albeit high in the pedal. I drove the car like this for about a year. Eventually, I ended up replacing my motor along with the clutch & fw with all stock parts. This is what is presently in the car, oem honda clutch & fw. Fast forward to 2 wks ago, ended up cracking the clutch pedal mounting bracket- I blame the added stress/flex from the spacers. Had it welded and took the washers out upon reinstalling thinking it might be fine since for the first time i'm using all stock components. However, i'm still having the same problem and cannot get the clutch to fully disengage without the washers. Fluid is full with no leaks from both slave & master.. I'm ready to order a master & slave, but don't want to waste my $ guessing on solutions so figured i'd ask here first. Anyone?
