I love my '03 Black CL-S, but she's having some issues that are stumping the mechanics. Several times a week now (been happening for the past year) my car will shut down on its own. It's usually when I'm parked, starting up, or at low speeds like in a parking lot. The car will make a chugg sound, then die a moment later. When I attempt to restart, the engine won't turn over the first few times. Usually a combination of waiting a few minutes, starting up, then immediately revving the engine will get her back to life. I should probably also mention that my car is lowered, has Stone Headers that have some rust and have a leak coming from the gaskets, exhaust coming out from the front of the car. On my 2nd tranny here. Any thoughts? I'm in Los Angeles if anyone can recommend an expert!
My car is at 116k miles, haven't done any major service in a while, maybe something just needs replacing? Haven't done spark plugs, timing belt, etc.. Haven't done the 105k major service.
