I own a "new to me" 2008 Acura TL and live in Michigan. About a week ago, we had a horrific snow storm and slammed into a curb doing only 10mph with my passenger front tire, which was turned all the way to the left. I did 2400 in damage! Bent subframe, bent strut and knuckle, and also broke the actual wheel, taking a huge chunk out of it. Im just amazed that this curb slam did so much damage. My baby comes back to me on Dec. 2nd after being in the shop for 10 days. I was kind of also shocked that State Farm uses "like kind quality" replacement parts. Im getting most of my parts used from a TL that had 60K on it. Hoping that my car rides and performs as it did before this "blunder".
