Hello. I have an 01 CL/S
had a new timing belt put on today, along with water pump. Car has 180K so it was waaaay overdue. The shop told me that the tensioner was fine and didn't need replacing. When I picked it up a couple hours ago,it was making some power steering whine noises, and the guy said that it was some air in line and would go away with a little driving. Trip home is 12 miles, and noise is still there. There is also a ticking now that wasn't there this morning. Not sure what or why that showed up. I know I'll have to take it back, but wondering if anyone knows what the ticking owuld be from? I wouldn't think they had to take the exhaust off to do the belt? Any suggestions/input would be appreciated. JoeC
