Hi All,
I remember recently reading Narnia's post about having problems at a gas station getting a pump nozzle into the gas tank. The thread actually came to mind today when I was at a Chevron Station.
I had a low fuel warning light come on and had stopped to get gas. Upon completing the fill, I went to take the nozzle out of the tank and...it would move. I thought, "Hmm...that's odd." and applied a bit more pressure. It wouldn't budge; I mean Excalibur in a stone, wouldn't budge.
I walked inside the station which has an attached garage and asked the cashier if the mechanic was in (he wasn't), so I walked back out to the car and got my cellphone to look up the issue. Fortunately, it wasn't very busy there, so no one was waiting for me to move along.
I started to look it up and decided, what the heck, I'll try one more time. And it just slid right out. Kind of like one of those "I can't get the peanut butter jar open, here can you try?" moments where the other person casually turns it and it just opens. :what:
What's up with this?
