The car: 2007 TL Type-S going on 133,000 Automatic
The problem: Recently I have been noticing a sound coming from the front of the car under acceleration. When I am at a complete stop and accelerate the car will make a creeking noise from the front ( cannot distinguish the side from inside the car ), i have noticed this while I am turning under acceleration but still I am accelerating so this is why I think this sound is my motor mounts going bad.
Also the other day I had my roommate sit in my car with his foot on the brake and shift into various gears and I noticed excess engine movement from under the hood. I know this is a tell tail sign of the mounts going bad but I want opinions on what else I should consider looking at. I have not had an opportunity to look at the bushings yet but I plan to.
If the motor mounts are the problem I have no problem with getting them but I cannot find information on replacing all three. I had found info on the one by the timing belt and in the front but not the other. Could someone please give me some input?
Lastly lol I noticed that XLR8 is having a sale on them right now, has anyone used them and do you like them, personally I like shying away from OEM in these type of departments and like what they have to offer
