2004 TL with 360k miles. I'm on my 2nd transmission. Got a rebuilt one after my original went out at 260k miles.
At first, the transmission wouldn't engage now and again.
Just recently, more often.
I've read the other threads, which list some things to go thru (i.e. flush/filter, clean solenoids etc).
Two Questions:
1) Has anyone ever got that tranny back running smoothly again? Or is this toast?
2) If I drained the fluid, would I learn anything from it ? (burnt, or metal shavings)?
This probably means the end of my TL. It's a shame. My engine still runs perfect.
