Major Driving Trip

Yes, you are reading that distance and mpg correctly. My wife, son and I just completed an epic driving vacation from Missouri to Montana and back in 12 days.

This included trips to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, The Black Hills and then home.

The amount of mountain ranges we drove around and over was numerous and my RDX handled the drive fine.

But here is the bad news.. On nearly every occasion when passing a large vehicle on the left with ACC on, the car would signal for me to brake and slow down. On a few occasions, it even braked very hard.

The other bad news is that the navigation system and the USB Audio are still complete crap.I really tried hard to trust the navigation system, but it led me to a dead end once, a gravel road and completely lost its mind in Wyoming and Montana. It could not find anything, so I used Google Maps and Waze to get around.

The auto headlights are pathetic and will blind anyone in a silver or white car in front of me, so I just turned them off.

USB Audio is just unbelievably still horrible with the system restarting to the first song on the drive after a gas or food stop and never staying locked on an artist after turning off the car. I am so tired of opening cases with Acura about these problems.

Otherwise, we had a great time in our National Parks and I encourage anyone who has never visited Glacier National Park to visit before all of the glaciers disappear forever.
