Old Noob Resurfacing, Hi Folks!

Yeah... I became interested in Acuras back in the IMSA International Sedan Series days. I've owned 5 Acuras since 2001, including a 2000 Integra R, a 2006 RSX Type S Pearl White, a 2004 NSX Rio Yellow, and presently own a 2002 Premium Leather Base Eternal Blue Pearl (13,000 miles), and a 2006 RSX Type S Blaze Orange (Pristine Driver).

I remember Lime Rock back when Honda (HPD Honda Performance Development) came out in the 90s and kicked everyone's asses with the first Integras. The other team owners were whining that Acura was cheating. That no stock low end could handle regular 10,000 rpm usage, and that the motors were not stock low ends as required by the series guidelines. Cunningham and Real Time Racing were regularly campaigning 03' RSX's after the pace for Acura had been set in earlier years by Parker Johnstone. Those were some great days for Honda/Acura. They went on to win a multitude of manufacturers championships and still are.

Now??? An Integra Type R just sold at auction for $68,000, a new NSX is $175,000, and Honda is installing Turbos as stock components... Boy am I old. :>)
