First car was a 96 Acura Integra 4dr bought at 140k miles and owned it for 7 years until I totaled it last summer. Just recently bought a 09 Acura TL with 129k miles on it for a very good price and absolutely love it. Here's some photos that display my experience...
Top: Purchased condition (no rust or dings, dark photo sorry). Btm Left: Hit a tree, lol. It looks worse than it really was. Just needed to replace bumper cover, bumper, and radiator. We bent the car's frame back out to by hooking it up to a hitch and put it into reverse, lol. Btm Right: Budget restoration. Found someone parting out their green Integra and scooped up the hood, unfortunately they already sold the bumper cover so I just bought an OEM replacement but didn't bother to paint it.
Last summer I got rammed by a 2018 Chevy Silverado going 25mph while making a left turn (known to be a dangerous intersection because of the blind spots, this happens probably over 20 times a year at this intersection and I was the unfortunate one this time). Didn't even bother to try and fix this sucker at this point.
Just bought this a few days ago at a very good price. Garage kept, dealership maintained, everything done to the car was documented and printed out (WOW), 129k miles, and it was an older lady's car so it wasn't driven hard. Minor exterior dings, but that's expected on a 10 year old car. Interior is in like-new condition... I'm in love.
So far I've done a pretty good job at detailing the interior, although I'd like to take it to a detailer to get the exterior properly detailed and the engine bay cleaned out. I could do it myself but I want the peace-of-mind when a professional is doing it. I'd like a fresh start! Already ordered replacement floor mats (3d maxpider for front mats, WeatherTech for rear floor, and WeatherTech for trunk/cargo floor).
If you read this far I appreciate your time to read my story! I'll be scouring these forums for info on my new(er) car.
