LKAS and MPG.

Drove my wife's RDX Tech from NOVA to Central PA and back, total 280 miles. Trip almost exclusively on Rt 15 which is a mixture of two land and modern 4 lane. Some 65 MPH limit in PA. Ran into morning commuter traffic but MPG got as high as 28 after about 100 miles. Final MPG was 27.4. Car has a little over 4K miles. I have a 2016 GLC 300 and the two cars are similar, but different. GLC 300 has 20K miles and on the same trip I normally get 29-30 MPG. RDX actually has about 20 HP more and one more gear. The turbo in the RDX seems to be more aggressive. GLC requires premium and been using COSTCO and BP premium in the RDX. I like the ACC on the RDX which I don't have on the GLC. I played with the LKAS on the trip back on the two lane portion of the Rt 15 in VA. The LKAS kept the car much too close to the center line for my comfort. It was no where near the center of the lane. It never crossed the center line, but turned it off with on coming traffic Plan on asking the dealer to check its calibration and/or adjust.
