OK so I'm not a Honda acura guy but was in desperate need of a decent daily driver. My sr locked dif 240 and mk3 supra won't do it this winter or as a daily either. I recently bought an 06 tl at with 220k there mostly highway miles and she is the original owner. I know the trannys shot and that getting it rebuilt is not an option as the case is cracked. The car runs fine was maintained very well. Why would I want to buy it ?? I work with the previous owner and paid 400 for the car and its loaded leather nav everything. I can replace the tranny myself but I also wanted to replace the water pump timing belt etc just to make sure its reliable. What else should I replace while I'm in there and my biggest questions how reliable are these and how many more miles can I expect to get out of it. If its a lost cause I'm probably going the Subaru route.
