The car has been running fine, no problems, driving today I pulled into convenience store & a guy pulled in behind me saying my car is blowing large amounts of smoke, I looked underneath and trans fluid is pouring out. Undercarriage covered in it. Now I'm worried, because I'm afraid there's damage now. I find it strange the dealer had just changed the Oil & Trans fluid on it a thousand miles ago & this happens, is it possible the Tech didn't properly torque down the nut, bolt/cap for the trans fluid fill & it blew off causing the leak? Is there any seal they would suddenly go? The car has 111,000 miles & out of warranty. This might be costing me a lot, and lets face it, if the Tech didn't properly secure something after changing the fluid I'm sure the dealer won't admit it & instead nail me $$ for a new Trans.
