So I recently had to buy x2 headlight housings off ebay (had moisture in one); as well as an aftermarket HID kit. The kit was AutoVizion and cheap, outside of southern Cali.
After not even a week; my left headlight would sometimes not turn on. If this happened, I would turn the lights on and off again and it would usually come on. After 3 weeks my left light no longer turns on and now my right headlight seems to be going through the same problem (not always turning on).
However; this is only the case with my low beams; my high beams are still fine.
Now I am at a loss of what to do. Buy a different HID kit or go with OEM? Even asking my local shop who put the kit in said these things can happen with aftermarket. If I go with another aftermarket brand; who is there? Perhaps autovizion is extremely sub-par.
And if I go with OEM; where can I buy them? Ebay?
I really don't know much about cars; I work as a pizza delivery driver and all I want is headlights that work; maybe the constant turning off and on of my headlights between deliverys is what caused such a short lifespan of these lights. I own a 2003 Acura TL-S and love it.
Thanks and appreciate any feedback!
